6'-4'' tall and weighing 120 Kg Varinder Ghuman is a complete Vegetarian(Not even eggs) and a silver medallist at Mr.Asia. Varinder Ghuman is Son of Sh. Bhupinder Singh and hails from Talwandi Chnghla in Batala Tehsil district Gurdaspur (Punjab) which has also produced International Bodybuilders like Prem Chand Degra and Yogesh Sanan. Now 23 years old Varinder lives in Jalandhar and runs his own Health club.
He came into limelight when he won Mr.India competition and after that he never looked back. He has also been training Bollywood stars like Salman Khan and Manisha Lamba. Sukhminder Dhaliwal the director of "Kabaddi Once Again" casted him for the lead role in the film leaving Roshan Prince- Punjabi Singer, high and dry.
The shooting of the Punjabi film "Kabaddi Once Again" is almost over and now its in the post production phase. With many other Punjabi films like "IK KUDI PUNJAB DI", "SIXTH RIVER-CHHEVAN DAREYA" and "WELCOME TO PUNJAB" lined up for release, "Kabaddi Once Again" will give a tough competition to all.
Punjabi cinema is mostly dominated by Singers and this is the first time that a world class bodybuilder will be a hero in Punjabi Film. Model turned actress Sudeepa Singh has been casted opposite Varinder in the film and they share a nice on-screen chemistry. Daily11 wishes luck to the cast and crew of "Kabaddi Once Again"
