Now we know where Rahat Fateh Ali Khan who was recently arrested with One Lakh US Dollars spends all his money. In a recent function held in Pakistan where some Sufi Qawwals were called to perform at a home gathering, Rahat was also in the audience. As the mehfil warmed up the qawwals started singing some class-apart compositions to which the whole audience enjoyed. And the one enjoying the most was Rahat whose expressions clearly showed how big a fan he is of quality Music.
In order to show his respect for the qawwals and the music they sang Rahat himself went upto the stage and started raining money over the singers. In countries such as India and Pakistan where music is an indispensable part of life, people normally give money to singers while they are performing to show their gratitude towards them.
